Visit to Camp Elphinstone

I was invited to attend a “reopening” tour of the YMCA Camp Elphinstone on Aug 17. The Camp is running at about 75% capacity but there were still plenty of young people enjoying the myriad of activities the camp staff offer. I learned the 160 acre camp had been at the current site for more than a century and is one of 8 such facilities in the West Howe Sound and Islands Area.
